The story behind the lens
My journey into underwater photography began with a simple fascination: what lies beneath the surface? That curiosity has taken me to oceans around the world, from the shark-filled waters of South Africa to the nudibranch-rich reefs of Indonesia.
With every dive, I aim to capture not just an image, but a moment - the curious glance of a passing shark, the vibrant colors of a nudibranch against dark volcanic sand, the graceful dance of a manta ray in open water.
My goal is to share the beauty of marine life with those who may never have the chance to see it in person, and hopefully inspire a deeper appreciation for our oceans and the incredible creatures that call them home.
Every photograph is taken with respect for the marine environment
Great underwater photos aren't taken - they're waited for. I spend hours underwater, observing animal behavior, waiting for that perfect moment when everything aligns.
I never chase, touch, or disturb marine life for a photo. The best images come from calm observation and letting animals approach on their own terms.
A portion of every sale supports ocean conservation efforts. These creatures and their habitats face growing threats, and I believe photographers have a responsibility to give back.
